FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What Registration Types Are There?

We’ve got plenty of registration options to suit everyone—whether you want to bunk in a cabin, camp under the stars, or stay off-site.

If you’re camping or staying off-site, you can even choose between a fully catered weekend or self-catering!

If you’re booking a cabin, you get to choose your location. Keen to be right next to the Auditorium at Panorama Lodge? Or prefer a bit more space out in beautiful Camp Tamborine? If staying onsite and sharing a communal bathroom hasn’t been a highlight, or if you’re looking for a more “luxe” type of accommodation, staying at Tamborine Lodge might be for you!

If you’re just wanting to attend the conference and source your own accommodation, there are options for that as well. Early bird tickets allow you to register for the 3 days at Y with food or attend while self-catering for the weekend.

How Much Does Y Cost?

Check out our “Registration Costs” page for a details breakdown of costs for Y2026

Is Y affiliated with a particular church or denomination?

Y is one of the events run by QCCA (Queensland Christian Convention Association), which you can read more about at qcca.org.au . We don’t have any particular denominational affiliation, and last year Y attendees came from many different churches (Baptist, Presbyterian, Anglican, Independent, ACC, Church of Christ, Reformed, Uniting…)

I don't have a regular church. Is it okay if I still come?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to come no matter your church affiliation.

I don't know anybody/have no one to go with. Can I still come?

Absolutely! We’d love you to come and a big part of Y is making new friends! Our team is great at connecting people. We’ll make sure you’re introduced to others so you won’t be on your own for long!

What happens if I register but then I can’t come?

Full refunds are available until 18th September. After this, partial refunds may be possible, depending on the circumstances.
If you can’t come, there is also an option to transfer your registration to someone else, if you know of someone who’d like to be able to take your place.
Please contact James at y.rego@qcca.org.au for more details.

I have kids. Can I bring them?

Yes! We have plenty of families at Y and kids from babies up to young teenagers. We are even introducing a Kids Program!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at y@qcca.org.au

When should I arrive at Y?

If you’re coming up on Friday, the registration desk will be open from 4pm. If you’re coming up on Saturday, you’ll be able to register from 7.30am. Please arrive by 8am so you have time to register and grab a coffee before Y kicks off at 9am.

Can I bring my pet?

Strictly no pets are allowed at the venue. However, certified service dogs are welcome. If you are bringing a service dog, please contact us ahead of time so we can plan well to support you best.
